    • This is encouraging but DO NOT abuse the word adoption, they have NOT adopted anything.

Yes they have supported a for the calendar year as I can see academically but for whats its worth this is NO adoption at all.

      Thanks

  1. This a good gesture …. you need to be more organised with these schemes; they have been going on for years a number of pupils at my boarding School were sponsored by the Game Lodges from the villages they came from and they were monitored every term by their sponsor to get a certain mark or else..the problem with just stuffing a container with goods is that the don’t reach the intended target as their teachers can not afford those selfsame goods….that’s the same with adopting/sponsoring pupils you need constant monitoring…International organisations like Word Vision have dedicated caseworkers for each pupil.

  2. This is a very good initiative and must be commended.
HOWEVER, I have seen some Church organizations that have opened Orphanages in Zambia and registered them for the sole purpose of enjoying the ZERO RATE TAX when they bring commodities into Zambia.
their main purpose has been to bring goods, motor vehicles, clothing etc. at ZERO RATE TAX and issue a few goods to the orphans while the rest is sold at market value and enrich the syndicate individuals running the operation.
The problem is that in Zambia we do not have regulatory bodies that monitor the flow of the donations. Unscrupulous people come up with such schemes for tax avoidance at the expense of their victims who are the orphans in need of clothing and a meal on the table.
I HOPE THIS HUMBLE INITIATIVE WILL NOT TURN OUT TO BE…

    • Its a gymic…AZA is full of bandits…very useless association….i was one of the founders way back in 2002. Ba Pompwe beka beka

  3. When you were in boarding, were you as myopic then as you are now? Please send me two names of your former form (grade) masters and their numbers. Disclaimer, they must NOT be members of HaTribes Association! I want to find out if this disease (your current one) was ever spotted that time (including Laughing disease).

  4. Well done zambian women in Atlanta. Your motherly instincts have not forsaken you even though you are so far from home. God bless you.

    • But is it going to the pupil that needs it most…you have to micromanage these things; this why philanthropist do these things hands on. …this 2018 get organised, employ locally based caseworkers for your charities not just donating and washing your hands
