While it is good for Africans to get inspiration from a work of fiction, we need to come back to reality and not be stuck in the fantasy world of Wakanda. The reality is that Africa is heavily mismanaged by the same africans who one would expect to manage the continent properly in their quest to play catch up with the west.

I think above all the positive things like women empowerment, focus on STEM, the movies provides a platform to have a discussion of what is wrong with africa in its current state. Misleaders like Jonathan Pombe need to keep this movie on repeat during their cabinet meeting and they might just maybe by a slim chance wake up from their collective lazy stupor.

Please leave legacy for the pipo period.Money will never save anyone.A lawyer should help to restore justice for the poor Zambians. He can’t allow these capitalists like abena mutati/ZRA commisioner to tax Zambians like foreigners.Where is our respected woman Inonge wina?.she has failed Zambians. We expected a lot from her as a mother but she has kept quiet and…

I agree with you, there have been African leaders that have had this vision for Africa and were systematically “eliminated” by forces that are still active today. Perhaps the difference with this time and going forward is the vision is catching on among the masses. A predator who takes more than his share will one day become the hunted and will be taken out as history has shown. Let us not despair one day Africa will arise from it’s position as the abused and downtrodden continent.

Cole who wrote the script for Wakanda, our forefathers like Patrice Lumumba, Kwame Nkrumah and Steve Biko already had a greater vision for Africa and were ready to elevate Africans to a higher level when they were taken out by remote control.

It is no secret who ended the race that these forerunners began. The same forces are still active today and the only valuable anectode from the film is the secrecy behind the ficticious nation of Wakanda. That however, is not a recipe for reality.
